"After that is gets a little blury," cliche words to describe where I'm at on my mileage count these days. 500 seems a bit daunting considering it's November, but we shall see after today's totals if an adjustment is in order:
August 6-15 Glacier National Park
Walton to Park Creek--7.5 mi
Park to Upper Park Creek--7.4 mi
Upper Park to Upper Two Medicine Lake--12.5 mi
Upper Two Med to Two Medicine Lake--4.6 mi
TOTAL: 32 mi
August 27-30 Jamie's 33rd birthday on the South Fork of the Payette above Sacajawea Hot Springs in Sawtooth Wilderness, made camp on river bank & enjoyed moonlit, birthday serenade from the local wolf pack. Great story, sadly only 6 miles hiked!
We've been out ton, just not logging trail miles; rather, we've been soaking in lux hot springs, lounging at camp, and drinking way too much great beer. And then came Yellowstone.
September 22-27 Old Faithful to Bechler Ranger Station

74 more miles to add to our total. I think I'd better get movin' in the foothills north of my house to catch sight of my goal!
